Organisational Constellations

Bringing change in your system

An interactive, experiential workshop
Thursday 27 September 2007 18h30

Systemic Constellation Work aims at bringing change in your system in a fast way and with a new approach. Constellations are a systemic tool and methodology, a way of looking in a totally different way at intriguing issues. If we look at persons or the elements of a big system and all their relationships, only then we see the whole system. The information we get out of systemic constellation is about these (unconscious) relationships, interactions and dynamics.

Constellations are different from the system's theory approach. It draws on the collective intelligence and wisdom of a system and because it uses the mental, the emotional and the intuitive knowing, it often brings totally new and fresh solutions. Further more it can provide new pathways in a short time, and it isn't resource-intensive. It can be useful for rapid diagnosis, for issue-resolution or the testing of possible strategies.
The dynamics that are revealed are sometimes surprising and can be challenging for our analytical mind! The informing heuristics of constellations - called ‘the orders’ - give us a new language and are often about accepting limits and constraints. The paradox is that by accepting ‘what is’, we can often begin to see truly fruitful possibilities! This integrating of paradoxes makes constellation work so valuable in working with the higher complexity we are confronted with these days.

Questions and issues that benefit from a systemic approach:
* General organisational issues; in cases of recurring or 'unclear' problems.
* Constellations for family businesses
The constellation of the two intertwined systems (the family system with its own hierarchy and its specific forms of loyalty; and the organisational system with different dynamics) can bring issues back to the system where they belong and can bring clarity and relaxation into the system.
* Questions about work, profession and career
A constellation with key figures and relevant aspects (your potential, your previous job, the future, your creativity, …) can bring clarity to your doubt and in which direction the solution can be found. Blockages, but also unsuspected resources become visible and integrated in a new way.
* Supervision for professionals (consultant, trainer, therapist, …)
A systemic constellation for a client has first of all a diagnostic function. A constellation shows you how to handle obstructive patterns, the blockages become visible and new resources can be sourced.
